Today Google celebrates Mary Blair. I love her because her style is really similar to mine and it gives me hope among all these talented people at SCAD that my style of art (based a lot on color and shape) is valid.
She created a lot of concept art for It’s a Small World, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella as well as designing the mural in Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Maybe hope still exists that I will get to work for Disney in a creative capacity someday.
